Starting its development in the year 2004 and the pre-production in 2007, Ra.One is the first Indian Super Hero based movie, which marked its release in 2011. Though many people didn't like the movie as a whole but there are many a things to get amazed related to its 'Making-of' . One must appreciate the whole team of Ra.One specially to the Red Chillies VFX team to visualize the audience many a things which did wonders with the help of its jaw-dropping Visual Effects technology.
Few things to get amazed to:
● The station which was visualized as CST in the movie was actually a virtual clone of it- The CGI Technology (Computer Generated Imagery)
● It took around 6 months & 300 computers to decide and finalize how the face of Ra.One should look- Crazy artists, you see. :)
● It took 2,600 artists to convert 4,400 shots of the film to 3D- The Stereoscopic conversion
● The film's reported 3,500 special effects shots within 195,000 VFX frames were incorporated by 1,200 artists working for 2½ years- A Real BIG Team.
● The body suits worn by Ra.One and G.One were designed by special effects experts Robert Kurtzman and Tim Flattery costed around 1Crore each suit. It took 20 minutes to put on the suits and 40 minutes to remove them- Really perspiring!
