Download the Rupee Symbol for Free

Mangalore - based Foradian Technologies Pvt Ltd has created a font called Rupee_Foradian. The symbol may take a while to appear on the keyboard but can rightaway be typed as a character, thanks to a newly-created font.
The company created a vector image of the new rupee sign and mapped the ‘grave accent’ symbol — the key just above the tab button on the keyboard — with it. This keystroke was chosen because most users and programmers don’t use it.

Here is how to use the Rupee symbol on your word document:
1.Type the new Rupee symbol on new word document.
2. Select it.
3. Go to Tools > Auto Correct Option > Auto Correct Tab
4. In REPLACE column type Rs. and in WITH column select Formatted Text.
5. Click ok.
6. Now in any font whenever you’ll type Rs. it will automatic turn to our new Rupee Symbol.
