Rules to follow to become a successful Guitarist

The young generations today are much eager to learn guitar as soon as they get influenced & inspired from various guitarists & bands performing in movies or in any albums or anywhere they see them using it in a much artistic & trendy way. They seek to make themselves skilled in the instrument, either to fulfill their own interests or to impress their opposite sexes just to gather publicity or attention. People who choses the former way, find themselves improving in the instrument as they start practicing it by taking it as a passion to learn. The later ones end up with some basic knowledge thereby finding the stuff a little tedious as they tend to lose their patience in the way along the practice getting it as a monotonous job. Following are some of the things to remember to master Guitar before starting it...

Create an urge to learn:
When you decide to learn Guitar don't do it just for namesake for being called as a Guitarist or just for any formality that anyhow you have to learn in it to impress others. The ultimate success in mastering a Guitar is to create a passion & a keen to learn the interesting stuffs hidden behind music & the world of Guitars.
Don't think of the last step before starting the first one:
One of the main & the prime rule to follow is, not to copy anyone. The point to be noted here is that for what purpose are you learning the guitar? Are you learning it just for any event to perform in a temporary basis OR for long term basis to make yourself perfect in the instrument? If you chose the later one, you've to get along the proper way of learning & practicing it right from the beginning till the end till you know at least its basics. After that you may start to try playing on any songs or any sample musics.
Keep a lot of Patience:
To keep yourself active in the journey of mastering Guitar, you've to be little, ooopps sorry, not little but a lot of patience. As you get along the way, you'll find many places where you find yourself lose your enthusiasm but you have to keep yourself moving to grasp as much of experience as it is in your will.
Keep practicing daily:
Last but not least, believe it or not but as I see the ultimate success in mastering a Guitar or any instrument is practicing. A lot of practicing. Hence, the following proverb appropriately applies here: "Practice makes man perfect." I'm not guaranteeing you to be perfect, as there's is no end to music or to yield knowledge, but still I'm sure of that practicing regularly & daily at least for one hour dedicatedly will make yourself feel proud of being a Guitarist when you ultimately see the result of your honest efforts after a short period of time.

As I said earlier, decide whether you want to want to learn Guitar or you want to be known to be as a Guitarist. Conclusively, create a keen interest in mastering a Guitar keeping your patience & efforts on top of all.
